Took wife's car in for Road Trip review and tire management - rotating and/or air pressures. I was advised that my fluids were topped off and tires were inflated to perfection but that NO rotating needed to be done. This garage never tries to overcharge me or attempt to do service when none is needed. That's why i've taken every car my family owns (5) to the shop and can't recommend enough! Thanks, Mark P.

Yesterday Nova and his crew at Garage 88 provided my 2010 Toyota Rav4 with a much needed comprehensive tuneup, break job, oil change, and replaced a 250,000 mile old radiator that was just beginning to leak. As I drove my car afterward it reminded me of the first time I drove it off the Toyota lot, and later as I drove through a narrow garage ramp (when the cement walls are on either side and the sound of the engine can be observed) I thought for a moment I was driving a new Lexus or something, as I hadn't heard my engine purring along like a fine tuned perfect machine for quite some time. It was very beautiful to hear the effortless purring of an engine as aged and used as my Rav4's engine is. It's always a distinct pleasure to invest in my car's safety and well-being with Nova and his Garage 88 mechanics and super kind office staff, Stephanie & Tamar, in play. Since I moved to Burbank 3 years ago, I've been taking a 35-year-old, 5-speed manual car to Garage 88. They are always upfront about the work to done, the cost and the repair priorities, which is very helpful. Recently this car was stolen, thankfully recovered but needed a lot of involved electrical replacements and other smaller things. The mechanics did a great job but even when there was a little hiccup Nova made it right quickly. After finishing the 35-year car looks and runs like new. I'm amazed at how many looks and thumbs up I get from strangers on the street. Thanks guys.

Garage 88 is the best car repair shop in LA. Seriously. It is so hard to find honest car repair places, so when I was referred to them about 17 years ago and discovered how great they are, I am now the one referring all of my friends to them. I stopped by recently for a slow leak and George squeezed me in to a full day to get it taken care of for me. Several months ago I was hit by another vehicle, and Nova & crew did an impeccable repair job. They even detailed it for me before I got it back! Last year I thought I had a warranty on an air conditioner issue, so took it to Honda, who quoted over $3,000. I then took it to Nova and he showed me how Honda had misdiagnosed it and then he fixed my car for 1/3 of their quote. I can't say enough good things about Garage 88.
