I'm so happy to have found Garage 88 for all my car needs. I have a total of four cars at present and have brought mainly my 1972 Dodge Dart in, which I use as a picture car for tv/film productions. They brought this car back to life, as it had so many problems. Everything that could be done, they did. It took plenty of time to get to this point, and most recently I had a problem with the power steering pump, which they sent out to be rebuilt, but it seems that it wasn't a problem, in reality. I'll continue to watch this potential issue, but point being, it was out of warranty, as it was 3 months of 3,000 miles, but I only drove 10 miles in four months. Nova and the guys instructed me to definitely drive it more, as I knew this, but I was mainly starting it only, and not driving it much at all. This car really had its share of issues, and still does, but it runs, they deemed it safe, it starts up fine, no overheating ever, thankfully no more leaks, as they fixed many issues, and also rebuilt the carbeurator, steering box, and power steering pump. It becomes rather expensive to maintain, but ultimately, when all is said in done and it's in good operating order, and ready for work, it's nice to know that it's ready to go for work on sets, when there will be work. These days, too, cars are so expensive, so it's nice to have a few classics to be able to enjoy as well. Or, A nice Sunday drive around town is always fun, as I will surely take it our more often, now that it's Spring, and there was recently the Spring Fling Car Show for Mopar in Van Nuys, which I will take it during Autumn. This is a very busy shop and more often than not, you need an appointment, but turnaround time has been very good, even with major work being done. They have a lot of classics being brought there, so many folks trust them, and in reality, many shops out there aren't able or willing to work on classics, so it's also nice to find somewhere near home that can come to the rescue. I plan on taking all my cars there, including my modern one, for future repairs.
